In 2013, our story began with nothing more than R50, a vacuum cleaner, a few cleaning supplies, and a whole lot of determination.After being retrenched from her long-time job, Carol, the heart and founder of our company, knew she had to find a way to make ends meet.
A confessed "clean freak" with an eye for detail, she turned her passion into purpose. With the help of her trusted domestic worker, Hazel (who has been with her since her youngest daughter was born) and a friend from church, Carol began by cleaning a neighbour's home. From there, word-of-mouth took over. Neighbours told friends, who in turn told family, and before long, the demand began to grow.
But the journey wasn't without its challenges. In 2015, Carol suffered a heart attack. With the business growing rapidly and clients depending on them, her eldest daughter, Nicole, stepped in to help. With a strong background in sales, Nicole brought structure and growth to the operation. She officially registered the company in 2016 under the name CCG Cleaning Services (Pty) Ltd, which stands for Chris and Carol Gregory. The business began trading as CC Cleaning Services, a name chosen by Carol herself.Soon after, Carol's youngest daughter, Lee-Ann, joined the team too, followed not long after by Carol's husband, Chris, the quiet engine behind the scenes, who ensures every bucket is packed and every vacuum is spotless and ready for the next day.
What began as a necessity has evolved into a thriving family business, built on passion, trust, and an unwavering commitment to quality. From just one cleaner to multiple fully equipped teams, we've grown thanks to the loyal support of our clients and the incredible dedication of our staff. Many of our cleaners and supervisors have been with us since the company's early days, and we consider them an integral part of our family.
At the core of everything we do is a simple philosophy that Carol has lived by from the start: "You look after me, and I'll look after you." It's this spirit of mutual respect, care, and attention to detail that continues to set us apart and keeps our clients coming back, year after year.
